This project involved the installation of a Level 2 EV charger at a newly constructed residential property in West Vancouver. The client, Mr. James R., recently purchased a Tesla Model Y and wanted a fast, reliable, and future-ready home charging solution. He specifically requested a clean, wall-mounted unit that would blend with the modern design of his garage.

Our initial inspection revealed that the main panel had limited capacity, and the garage was detached from the main house. This required a custom solution involving panel load analysis, trenching for underground wiring, and weatherproof conduit routing. The client also requested minimal visible wiring to maintain the aesthetic integrity of the garage space.

We recommended and installed a Tesla Wall Connector, supported by a dedicated 240V/60A circuit. All work was completed in compliance with local electrical codes, and permits were secured in advance. The system passed final inspection on the first attempt, and we walked the client through safe usage and settings for future adjustments.
